Pre-Licensure Supervision
For pre-licensed clinicians accruing hours toward independent licensure as a psychologist or master's-level therapist, I offer individual supervision in Ohio.
Supervision at Groundwork is collaborative and developmentally focused. We work on the cases in your caseload, the patterns you notice in yourself as a clinician, and the ethical and practical realities of building a career in therapy. I take the formal requirements of your supervisory relationship seriously — documentation, evaluation, and the legal weight of signing off on your work — while making space for the actual texture of becoming a therapist.
- Adult individual therapy across a range of presenting concerns
- Trauma-focused work, including Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- LGBTQ+ affirming care, including gender-affirming surgery evaluations and letter-writing
- Existential-humanistic and interpersonal psychodynamic frameworks
- Career development and the early years of independent practice
Supervision is offered in person only in the Mt. Adams office.
Case Consultation
For already-licensed therapists and psychologists looking for a thoughtful peer or expert consultation on a specific case, a recurring caseload, or a clinical question.
Consultation is one-on-one and structured around what you actually need — a single complex case, a specific specialty area you're building into, or an ongoing space to think out loud about your work.
- Trauma-focused treatment planning, including PE and CPT
- Gender-affirming evaluations and letter-writing for clinicians newer to that work
- Working with high-functioning, deep-feeling adults who don't fit neatly into a manualized protocol
- Case formulation that bridges evidence-based practice with relational depth
Consultation is available by secure video across the U.S. or in person in Cincinnati.
