Therapy at Groundwork is a collaborative process — one where you bring your full self and we figure out the rest together.

Some people come in with a specific issue — grief, a breakup, a career crossroads, a resurfacing memory. Others come because life looks fine but doesn't quite feel that way, and they want to understand why. Both are good reasons to start.

Getting started

Reach out

Send a message or request a free 15-minute consultation. Once you do, I'll send over intake forms so you can share a bit about what's bringing you in and what you're hoping to get out of therapy.

First session

We meet — in person or virtually — to talk through what's going on, what you need, and what working together might look like. I'll answer any questions you have, and we'll both get a sense of whether we're a good fit. No pressure either way.

Finding direction

Build a plan

Together we'll dig into what's holding you back and develop a clear direction forward. You'll leave with a sense of where we're headed and the areas we may address together in therapy.

Doing the work

Do the work

We typically meet weekly or biweekly, depending on your needs and goals. Sessions are active and collaborative — expect to be challenged, supported, and genuinely heard in equal measure.

Check in & adjust

Periodically, we'll step back and review how things are going — what's shifted, what still needs attention, and whether our approach needs adjusting. Therapy should evolve as you do.
